as its basic active ingredient which is used for treating
certain patients having hyperaldosteronism which means that the
body generated excessive quantity of naturally occurring hormone
called aldosterone, low potassium levels as well as for treating
the patients having edema or fluid retention mainly caused by
different conditions usually which include heart, liver or
kidney ailments. The drug is also widely used singly or with
some other medications for treating patients with high blood
pressure problems.

United States, Aldactone-Spironolactone belongs to the category
of medications known as Aldosterone Receptor Agonists-ARA. The
drug causes kidney to eliminate un-required water and sodium
from the body through urination and simultaneously decreases the
loss of potassium from the body. This medication is formulated
in Tablet form for oral dosage and is usually recommended to be
ingested once or twice daily depending on the individual
patient’s condition.
Though, Aldactone-Spironolactone is designed to control
hyperaldosteronism high blood pressure, but it does not cure
such conditions. It is said that the drug needs two or more
weeks for effecting completely on the problems. The drug is also
used in combination with certain other medications for treating
precocious puberty conditions in young boys and girls as well as
treating myasthenia gravis-MG which is the disease wherein the
